SYNOPSIS - "Tabula Rasa" means to start fresh without any prejudice. the episode mainly concerns the story of Kate and further attempts to answer the crime Kate is accused of. The flashbacks reveal how Kate got a second from the farmer who gave him a nice place to stay when he found her running from where and hiding in his barn but it ends up that the farmer was more worried about the money so he gave her in. on the island, Kate is given a second chance again by Jack this time. lets see if Kate needs anymore second chances or will she finally change her self for the better. as far as the rescue attempt goes, the crew that consists of Sayid, Kate, Sawyer, Charlie, Boone and his sister decide not to tell the rest of the crew about what they heard about the French distress call in attempt to keep the hope alive. Sayid leads the crew into survival mode.

CHARACTERS
  • in the last episode, Kate asks something from the Marshall but before she could ask the plane crashes. well in this episode its revealed that she asked him to make sure the farmer got his money for turning her in. this is quite strange but to some extent reveals something about Kate. she is thrown into a situation she doesn't want to be but she accepts what she has done and willing to accept the consequences. also Jack and Hurley realize that Kate is a fugitive from the mug shot the Marshall was carrying.
  • the relationship between the two Korean couple is revealed more. even though the husband is quite strict on the wife but still loves her considerably. we don't know if the wife feels the same.
  • a new kind of relationship gets formed on the island between Charlie and Claire. will have to see how far it go.
  • Walt and his father get close from the bald guy's who name is Locke who we still don't much about and what kind of miracle did happen to him? Locke gets Vincent back from the woods but gives Walt's father the opportunity to present it to his son.
  • we learn more about Sawyer when he steals stuff from the people who have been dead. Sawyer has come to understand that there will be no rescue and that everybody should make the best of this moment. Jack disapproves of this who firmly believes that he will get rescued.
  • we get a pretty good feeling about Sayid. someone who worked for the Republican Guard fighting the Americans in the Gulf War, he is quite helpful and generous.
  • Boone and his sister always seem to be fighting. the relationship between the two is quite strange because sometimes they behave like a couple.
