LOST Season 2: Ep.10 - "The 23rd Psalm"

CHARACTER MODE

For someone who doesn't speak much, Eko is filled anger due to his harsh childhood, no parents and left to defend himself in the world of drugs, Eko is definatly someone to keep a close on. Mr.Eko so far has the deepest connection with the island than anyone. The plane that crashed from Nigeria was the plane which carried Eko's brother Yami and with a drug dealer trying to smuggle drugs from Nigeria which Eko was the drug lord of. As a child it was Eko who saved Yami by killing an innocent man and joining the drug gangs and later it was Yami who saved Eko from going on the plane, which crashed on the island killing everyone. Before Eko burned the plane, he redeemed the gold cross he lost as a child to Yami who became a priest.


STORY MODE

After last episode, Michael is more interested punching the numbers than anyone especially after his son has managed to communicate with him over the computer. Determined to get Walt back, he enlists into Locke's army training who tells him that his idea of going after the "others" with a gun is not good. Even Jack comforts him by offering his full dedication to get Walt back but we know Michael is going to do this alone.

Claire figures out that Charlie was hiding the drugs inside the Virgin Mary statues and kicks him out and bans him from coming close to Aaron. Heart broken and alone, Charlie reveals where he has been hiding the statues letting us know that Charlie has much to go before he will recover his drug addiction.


MYSTERY MODE

  • where did the polar bear come from?
  • where did Jack's father body disappear to?
  • where did the male and female skeletons came from and what does the black and white pebbles attached with the bodies mean?

So far we have come to known, Ethan and Goodwin, the only contact the survivors had with the "others". Ethan abducted Claire and did strange things when she was pregnant. Goodwin was a spy who tried to pick the best ones from the group to taken away.
  • why was the radio tower repeating "4,8,15,16,23 and 42" and what does it has to do with the hatch?
We know so far that these numbers are very unlucky after what happened to Rousseau and Hurley. Are these numbers really cursed or just bad case of hysteria.
  • what is Nigerian plane doing on the island filled with drugs? The skeleton with a gun dressed as a priest?
The Nigerian plane is only used for priest to bring in supplies into the country. Nigeria is where Eko is from and as a drug lord used his brother, Yami who is a priest to let him become a priest and transport drugs filled in Virgin Mary statues. Before leaving Nigeria, the army figured it out and tried to stop them, Yami got shot so Eko put in the plane and as he was about to get inside one of the drug dealers kicked him out and flew away. The plane later crashed on the island the skeleton with the gun was the drug leader dressed as a priest and Yami dead inside the plane.
  • what is DHARMA Initiative and what was it doing on the tail of the shark?
DHARMA Initiative is an science experimentation regarding various topics scientist can study and research on this island. One of the experiment revealed to us is the hatch or Station 3, where every 108 minutes the following "4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42" must be entered by an individual.
  • Where did the flight attendant disappear to and how did Walt show up but more importantly why did he lead Shannon to her death?
  • How long have the "others" been on the island?

LOST Season 1: Ep.4 - "Walkabout"

SYNOPSIS - walkabout represents a rite of passage when a male Austrailian aborigines would undergo a journey during adolescence and live in the wilderness. in this episode we will learn more about Locke and how he came got stuck with the rest of the crew deserted on a island. from the previous episode, Locke told Vincent some kind of secret or a miracle that had happened to him. as we learn Locke had been working in a cubicle under a very bitchy boss, talking to someone over the sex hot line called Helen and that he had been waiting to visit Australia to embark on his destiny of living in the wilderness and becoming one with the nature. at the same time we find out that he moves around in a wheelchair. from his jackass boss to the walkabout tour organizer, he was kept being told that he cant this walkabout in which he replied "don't tell me what I cant do" with anger. I presume this is something people have been telling him for a long time and he had enought of it. back on the island Locke is walking perfectly fine which reveals the miracle he told to Vincent. As far the story of the crew goes, Sayid with the help from Kate, attempt to triangulated the French ladies transmission and locate the power source but it fails. we learn that Lock gets really close to the monster but doesn't tell Michael of what he saw but manages to get a boar for everyone to eat.

CHARACTERS
  • Rose, the lady from the first episode that Jack saves gets introduced in this episode. Rose is the lady that Jack comforts during the plane flight when her husband is in the rear part of the plane. Jack gives her the opportunity to say something about her husband during the creamation but Rose feels offended and tells Jack that her husband Bernard is still alive. how can she be so sure of her self? is she is complete denial or does she know something we dont?
  • speaking of being delusional, Jack apparently seems somebody wearing a suit in the woods. when he tries to look again it disappears. Who is this person and why is Jack so interested in this person?
  • we get a glimpse of Sayid's past with a lost photograph claire finds from the wreakage. the photo shows a women wearing a hyjab. could it be Sayid's lost love?
  • it looks like Charlie is going to have a real problem when he runs out of drugs he is being using. the drug addiction could mean the end of him. on a fun note, we see him being used by Shannon, Boone's sister by hunting for a fish, funny.
  • in terms of what others think about Locke is quite clear, they dont know much but they do know that he carries a suit filled with deadly knifes. there could be stir in a leadership role between Jack now that he can hunt for food.
