SYNOPSIS - ¨He was your responsibility, but you gave him away. Everyone pays the price¨, pretty much sums up the theme of the episode. the episode begins with Claire having a very strange nightmare where she is no longer pregnant and a freaky Locke telling her it was her responsibility to take care of her baby and it ended with her waking up, hands full of blood. so whats up with Claire and her baby. from the flashbacks we learn that Claire has a unplanned pregnancy but her boyfriend doesnt seem freaked out and suggests that they should actually get the baby. for fun Claire and her friend visit a psychic but it turns out that the psychic dude gets freaked out by what he sees and stops the reading. after several months later, Claire finds out that her boyfriend doesnt like the life of parent hood, apprently his career is more important and abondens Claire. uncertain about her future Claire visits the psychic dude again and this time he says she must raise her child by herself or else she will be in great danger. confused by what she just heard, she runs away but he doesnt stop and keeps calling her day and night about a plan for her child. as a result she gives her child for adoption but on the day she was supposed to sign the papers none of the pens would work and suddenly she figures out that it isnt meant to be. afraid she runs back to the pshyic about the plan but it turns out that she has somebody waiting in L.A. that want her baby for adoption and that she should take the next flight on Oceanic flight 815. now the mystery is that did the psychic really have somebody waiting in L.A. or did he foresee the crash and didnt want anybody taking her baby.
back on the island Claire has another scream but this time there is somebody actually attacking her. nobody believes her first because of her pregnancy. as a result she gets angry and runs off and Charlie catches up her. she gets the contraction again and Charlie goes to get Jack for help. he finds Ethan on the way and asks him to get Jack. back in the caves, Sayid returns and repeats ¨we are not alone¨. Hurley finds the manifest of the crew to double check who´s really on the island and finds out that Ethan is not in the manifest. we see Ethan intercept Claire and Charlie back in the woods, starring at the them really hard. (Q - who is Ethan and what does he want from Claire and Charlie?)

- we find a little about the flight. the plane´s flight number is 815 and it was headed to L.A. from Australia.
